Synopsis
A story of family, loss, faith and reconciliation, Samuel Hunter’s The Whale opens October 11. Reggie Willis as Charlie, a morbidly obese college writing tutor who is trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter Ellie while keeping it a secret from his ex-wife. Charlie doesn’t get many visitors these days, save for his nurse friend Liz, though Mormon missionary Elder Thomas has been popping by a lot lately, and might have answers to some questions that have tormented Charlie for years. Directed by Buz Davis. Tickets are $20 and on sale now.
